International Youth Exchange
….YOUNG PEOPLE from different countries meet and live together to jointly carry out a work programme designed and prepared by them before the exchange.
….A mix of workshops, exercises, debates, role-plays, simulations and outdoor activities that allow young people to develop competences; discover new cultures, habits and life-styles through peer-learning; and strengthen values like solidarity, democracy and friendship.

Type of project: it’s an iERASMUS + KA1- Youth exchanges Program countries
Involved countries: Estonia, France, Germany, Italy, Slovakia and Spain
Participants age and profile:5 (FIVE) participants, (6 from Rivoli) 16-23 years old, and 1 (ONE) group leader
Group leader: no age limit – requested previous experience with non-formal education
A total of 37 Young people + Youth Leaders .
Dates: 10 days 1 to July 10, 2015 – arrival and departure days included
Accomodation: Rivoli (Turin) – Hostel part in Camp Tents – Colle del Lys (Turin)

The project AIMS to sensitize young people to fight against racism and xenophobia as well as consider the importance of human rights, reflect and discuss the experiences of the past to build a future in respect of legality and justice.
Financial conditions:
– Food, accommodation, insurance (in the local venues) and activities are 100% covered by the project
– Travel costs are covered by the project up to a maximum of € 170 for each participant, except Ravensburg , € 80,00.

What do I learn: This experience will be an opportunity to open a window on the world and to stimulate an open-minded vision of the facts, against prejudices and clichés, to recognize the equal dignity of cultures despite their diversity and in order to feel even more Europeans. But most of all … to meet new friends!
As a result of the participation in this project, will be issued a European certification (“Youthpass”) certifying the skills gained and valid for the European CV.
